General Questions

• Is your process safe?

  YES, your FREE GNC kit is traceable and insured. Validation of what you have sent in is captured via video.

• What about my privacy?

  Your personal information is kept completely confidential as per Gold Network Canada's Privacy Policy.

• What type of items can I send in?

  We accept anything containing gold, platinum, palladium and other precious metals, such as necklaces, charms, bracelets, rings, earrings, cufflinks, pins or other jewellery. Coins and gold bars are also acceptable….even dental work! Here is a full list of What We Buy.

• What about stones in my pieces?

  We do accept pieces with stones in them, however no stones are returned. If you wish to keep the stone then we advise that you have it removed before you mail your items in.

• Why can’t I get a quote over the phone or on your website?

  The price of gold fluctuates on a daily basis. Also, until our trained staff analyzes an item and performs a test on the material, we have no way of independently verifying that the item is as it as represented to us. Since any price we quote in advance of receiving your items would be different form the actual offer, we simply avoid this practice. Remember: Your SATISFACTION is GUARANTEED or your precious metals are returned to you. NO OBLIGATION!

• How is the Payout Price determined?

  The payout price is based on 3 factors:
        1. The Karat value
        2. The weight in grams
        3. The spot price of gold
  Your gold goes directly to our refinery allowing us to cut out the middleman.

• How long does it take to process my cheque?

  Your cheque will be issued within 24 hours of your items being appraised. Please allow sufficient time for your cheque to arrive in the mail to you. Cheques over $1000 will be sent via registered courier.

• What happens if I change my mind?

  Gold Network Canada offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and has had thousands of satisfied customers. If however you are unhappy with the amount you receive for your jewellery, simply call us and return the cheque so that it arrives in our offices within fifteen (15) days of the date that appears on the cheque. After we receive your cheque, your items will be returned to you within 15 days.

• What happens if I forget to call and return my cheque?

  In the event we do not receive a call form you and our cheque returned within fifteen (15) days, we will process the property you have sent to us. Once processed, the property cannot be recovered.

• Does Gold Network Canada return my non-precious items?

  Items not containing precious metals will not be returned by Gold Network Canada except in the event that you may request these items be returned at your expense.

Gold Party Questions

• Why host a Gold Party?

  Everyone loves a party and now you have a fun way to enjoy an evening with friends letting them leave with some extra spending money, while making money of your own hosting the event. The host will receive 10% of the total amount of gold purchased. These parties are great fun and your guests will talk about it for days.

• Why would people want to come to a Gold Party?

  It’s a great excuse to get together with friends and family. Everyone has unwanted or even old and broken gold jewellery. Just look in your own jewellery box. You’ll be amazed at what you find. PLUS… by inviting your friends and family you will have created a safe and comfortable environment for them to sell their Gold.

• Will my guests receive a fair price?

  YES. The Gold goes directly to our refinery allowing us to cut out the middleman and pay you and your guests TOP DOLLAR for their unwanted gold jewellery. This is truly a win/win for all. An offer is made and there is of course no obligation to sell.

• How do I organize a Gold Party?

  Your Gold Network Canada Representative will gladly supply you with a kit containing everything you need to host a great fun filled party.

• I know nothing about Gold. Do I need to know how to price Gold?

  Your Representative will have all the training and equipment necessary to take care of everything. You just need to join in the fun.

• What if some of my guests are interested in hosting a party of their own?

  This happens quite often. Your representative can make arrangements with them to host a party of their own. As a Thank You we pay you % of their Gold Party total.

Representative Questions

• How does it work?

  You pay the customers the day of the party with your own money. A typical party ranges form 5 – 20 people. Our Gold Network Canada Representatives plan to hand out roughly $300 per person. So…at an average party, with 10 people, you should expect to hand out $3000. We appreciate that not everyone has these types of funds available. Not to worry, we can help. Just give us a call.

• Is networking important?

  YES. You network to find people who want to host parties in their home or office and invite their friends, family and co-workers. (great as a fundraiser too) As well - "Host a Party Referrals" from our web site will be assigned to you based on your physical location.

• Why?

  The people selling their gold benefit by bringing their gold to a safe, secure private party, having you test and weigh it and then pay them for it on the spot. Oh, and it's a ton of fun.

• What is my cost?

  The Gold buying kit and your authorization to operate as a GNC Representative are $695 plus S&H and applicable taxes.

• What is the Host Fee?

  We suggest the host be paid a fee or gratuity of 10% of the value of the gold purchased that evening.

• How do I pay?

  By Cheque. You will be writing cheques (for safety reasons) from your own account on the spot. (Independent GNC Representatives may wish to have cheques printed with their business name).

• How do I get paid?

  You simply send the gold to Gold Network Canada to be refined and your results determined. The day we receive your gold, we prepare it, smelt it and the next day we send you a cheque or transfer you the funds. IT'S THAT SIMPLE!!!
